Entry Requirements for Egypt and Kenya For Kenya, you also need a VISA and a Yellow Fever Shot. With the vaccination comes a little yellow booklet – carry this yellow booklet with you – this is your proof of yellow fever vaccination which you need for return to the USA. I ALWAYS recommend that people see their own physician, or a travel doctor, for a final decision on shots that are merely recommended. KENYA - *Passport, visa, and onward/return ticket required. Visas should be obtained in advance. Airport visas are available for those traveling from a country where there is no Kenyan Embassy/High Commission. Travelers who opt to obtain an airport visa should expect delays upon arrival. Evidence of yellow fever immunization may be requested. * Tourist visas require 1 application form, 2 photos, onward/return ticket, and $50 fee (money order or cashier’s check only). Multiple-entry visas require payment of a $100 fee (money order or cashier’s check only). Expedited visa service is available for an additional $10. Airport departure tax is $40. For additional information, consult the Embassy of Kenya, 2249 R St., NW, Washington, DC 20008 (202/387-6101). Internet: www.kenyaembassy.com Immunization The best choice of vaccines for your trip depends on many individual factors, including your precise travel plans. Vaccines commonly recommended for travelers to Africa include those against. Your own personal physician is your best guide for any of the vaccines listed below. Only Yellow Fever is mandatory for Kenya: Tetanus Minimum Page requirements for Passports on Travel to Africa Please be advised that according to Home Affairs Officials at the airport, as from 1st September 2008, the new minimum passport entry requirement for any travelers entering South Africa is a minimum of six blank pages in their passport (including the two endorsement pages in US passports) This means six visa pages for all non-US passport holders and four visa pages plus the two endorsement pages for all US passport holders. We have also been advised that if a guest holding a US passport should be traveling to more than four African countries via RSA, then the traveler must have a minimum of one blank visa page for each country to be visited plus one extra blank visa page excluding the endorsement pages in US passports. i.e. a visitor holding a US passport who is visiting five countries via RSA must have a minimum of six blank visa pages on arrival. Please see the Egypt Kenya information above describing the entry and exit visas for the trip and their costs. Single supplement $1199.00 per person. Single supplement is not an extra cost. This is because the room cost is divided between 2 persons on the double rate. The round trip cost of transportation to JFK in not included. All pricing now includes air fuel surcharges per U.S. D.O.T Regulations. Air taxes are additional. In the past fuel surcharges were paid with final payment and were collected along with the taxes, now the fuel surcharge is collected as part of the package price. Bottom line is the same. You are not paying more now, you did not pay less before! Prices quoted do include fuel surcharges, but do not include airport fees or airline taxes. |
